Crease & Cleat Programs

Accessibility

Every family should be able to sign up here

We aim for this website to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA, and we test against that standard.

What we’ve built in

  • Every part of the site works from the keyboard, including the program finder, its filters, the questions for parents and the sign-up form, with a clearly visible focus outline.
  • Text is checked to meet a contrast ratio of at least 4.5 to 1 against its background.
  • Pages use proper headings and landmarks, so screen readers can move around them easily.
  • When you filter the programs, the number of results is announced, and each program’s button says which program it belongs to.
  • Every photograph that carries meaning has a written description, and the building plan is described in words beside it.
  • Form errors are announced to screen readers and explain what to fix.
  • If your device is set to reduce motion, the site’s animations switch off.
  • The essentials — our phone number, hours, address and the answers for parents — work even with JavaScript turned off. The program finder needs it; without it, the page tells you to call for the schedule.

Where we rely on others

Some parts of the site come from other companies and are outside our control: the pages of any registration platform we send you to, and the Google map if you choose to load it. If one of those gets in your way, call us and we’ll sign you up directly.

Tell us if something doesn’t work

If any part of this site is hard to use, we want to know. Email hello@creaseandcleat.example or call (719) 555-0142. We’ll reply within two business days, and we can always register your player by phone.
